New Client Scheduling
If you are a first time client, I would like to talk to you prior to scheduling an appointment. A brief conversation to ensure the GreenKey Wellness is the right match for your needs is important. I look forward to talking with you!
New Client Paperwork
To get you started there is some new client paperwork. This includes a medical history, policy disclosures and an intake on concerns and preferences*. It gets the process stated on the right foot and ensures a truly tailored experience for you.
New client paperwork is most effective when completed prior to the appointment time. This allows me time to review and assess your information. Forms are sent via a secure online service. If preferred, a pdf version is also available you to print, complete and return. Initial appointments include a little extra time for an initial assessment interview prior to the actual bodywork session beginning.
What is the first appointment like?
When you arrive, please relax in the entry waiting until your appointment time. Feel free to enjoy the tea and water for provided for you. The restroom is in the main hall near the stairs. Please call if you will be more than 10 minutes late or if you cannot make the appointment. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please see the Massage and Bodywork Policies page for more specific information. Thank you for understanding.
While the session will start at it’s scheduled time, the first few minutes will be comprised of a brief assessment interview. Your needs and preferences are assessed through a client care process. Please allow up to 10-15 minutes, in addition to the actual bodywork session, in your schedule.
Once you discuss your specific needs, unique concerns and desired outcomes, with me, I may perform some simple assessment tests. I will then explain how draping works and guide you through technicalities that may apply (such as your feedback for techniques such as assisted stretching, strain/counter strain and trigger point, as well as simply turning under the sheets once you are on the table).
This is your time. During the session, feel free to comment, ask questions or express preferences. Please drink plenty of water after the session. This is important to flush out toxins that are released during the work and keeps them from building up in your muscles. Please feel free to share how you feel!
